· I have a VR sensor for my B230FK build with 170180 ohm at 17 degree celcius. Question is > I have a VEMS and, i belive VEMS have some trouble with low resistance VR sensors, i am considering adding a resistor. Because i believe a 300700 ohm sensor would be better.
The original Oculus Rift prototypes used a sensor that was readily available on the market, but ultimately we decided to develop our own sensor hardware to achieve an optimal experience. With the new Oculus VR™ sensor, we support sampling rates up to 1000hz, which minimizes the time between the player’s head movement and the game engine receiving the sensor data to roughly 2 milliseconds.

· The VR sensor is a 3 wire sensor from an M50 BMW motor I believe with positive, negative and shield wires and it''s wired in using the shielded twisted pair in the diyautotune universal wiring loom. When I power up the unit with the VR sensor disconnected everything seems to be ok, no odd behaviours at all.
VR sensors need waveform shaping for their output to be digitally readable. The normal output of a VR sensor is an analog signal, shaped much like a sine wave. The frequency and amplitude of the analog signal is proportional to the target’s velocity.
